CC Lemon and the Simpsons
 CC Lemon is the third most popular drink in Japan following Coca Cola and Pepsi. It has a lemony flavor with a nice refreshing touch. The Simpsons is the official sponsor for CC Lemon, kind of like Butter Fingers and Kentucky's Fried Chicken in the United States.
Eric, aka Taikoboy from the CFTH, describes the relationship between the Simpsons and CC Lemon in Japan: The Simpsons are not readily available in Japan. For most people, the only exposure to the Simpsons has been through the C.C. Lemon TV commercials and C.C. Lemon Simpsons products (see the CC Lemon section on this page for examples). I often use the Simpsons when teaching English to Japanese students, and the most common reaction from the students is "Oh! CC Lemon!", to which I naturally answer, "No, these are the Simpsons."
Even though the Simpsons are sponsoring CC Lemon, thus helping CC Lemon increase their sales, I think that CC Lemon is actually helping the Simpsons more than the Simpsons are helping them. Because of CC Lemon, the Japanese know about the Simpsons, and it is so popular even the Simpsons' faces are on the buses. CC Lemon Simpsons Bottles(Special Thanks to suntory.co.jp for the photos)
The Simpsons 500mL CC Lemon bottle holders, with the head of every Simpson family member as the cap of the holder and the holder with the body of the corresponding Simpsons character. Shows Homer holding a CC Lemon can, Bart holding a skateboard and another CC Lemon can, Lisa and Maggie both with CC Lemon cans, and Marge with a 500mL CC Lemon pet bottle.
As seen in the picture above, a 500mL CC Lemon bottle comes with every item. There is a handle at the rear of the bottle holder. These bottles were introduced to the market in 4/17/2001.
CC Lemon Simpsons Pens(Special Thanks to bidders.co.jp for the photos)
At the back of the CC Lemon Simpsons pen packet, it reads: Push the button!! Lisa's head pops out!! Let's enjoy and play with Lisa! In the front, it reads: The Simpsons, Popup Key Strap, for kids over 4. On the pen, it reads: The Simpsons and CC Lemon. The cap of the pen is Lisa Simpson inside a CC Lemon can, in which if you push the button at the rear of the pen, Lisa will pop out of the can.
Here is Bart Simpson's CC Lemon Pen, the same as Lisa's CC Lemon Pen, if you press a button behind the pen, the Bart figurine inside the CC Lemon can will pop out.
This is a Congratulations certificate from CC Lemon, stating that you have collected one of the five pens featured during the promotion period, wishing you to be able to collect all five soon.
The two pictures above are the Simpsons bottle holders introduced before, but showing the box which the bottle holders are sold in. The box reads: CC Lemon, Bottle Cooler, The Simpsons, and a picture of the family on the top of the box.
The left hand side paper is the congratulations certificate again, introduced before too. On the right hand side, they are the instructions on how to use the bottle coolers, and saftey warnings.
CC Lemon Simpsons Magnets(Special Thanks to no one because this photo's my own!)
This is a magnet I got with a 500mL CC Lemon bottle in a Japanese Supermarket called UNY. There are two magnets, one is Lisa playing the saxaphone, the other one is the CC Lemon logo, which comes with every bottle during the promotion period. Sadly, I only got one...
CC Lemon Simpsons Cellphone Straps and Lunchbox(Special Thanks hakuhodo.co.jp for the photos)
This is a cellphone strap that can be tied to the end of the antennae on the cellphone. It features everybody in the Simpsons family; they inside a can with the head visible. The top of the head is the strap that is used to tie it to the cellphone.
This one... is a CC Lemon Simpsons lunchbox! It is made out of metal, and has two locks in front of the lunchbox. It shows the Simpsons family sitting on the couch, with a 3-D head of the family members. Note that the Simpsons are drinking CC Lemon; Marge has a 500mL bottle, and all others have a CC Lemon can.
CC Lemon Simpsons Magnets(Special Thanks to Eric for sending me the photos)
These Simpsons CC Lemon magnet photos are sent to me through email by Eric. He currently lives in Japan and has collected many Simpsons CC Lemon merchandise such as these shown. The following is the Homer CC Lemon magnet. Look at Homer's outfit... it's hilarious, with his underwear and only one sock on.
The following is the Maggie magnet. As you see on the top right of the magnet, there is a CC Lemon symbol in the Akbar font, or the Simpsons font you can say. Maggie is shown bathing in a pot with a bubble ball in her hand. Aw... so cute...
This one is the Grampa magnet, the old one in the family. Look at him... drooling all over himself... sleeping like a pig. Just like Homer Simpson! Also, you can see that Grampa is holding a CC Lemon can. Eric has a great collection of these CC Lemon products I must say!
The Simpsons Family Coasters

This is the Simpsons CC Lemon coaster set, featuring six different coasters showing Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and the whole family together. In the bubble it says, "New CC Lemon Presents!!". This is one of the many official CC Lemon Simpsons merchandise available in Japan.
This is the close up of the Lisa coaster in the set. On each coaster, there is a Simpsons logo, the CC Lemon logo in Akbar font, the picture of the character and the name of the character. On the left of the Lisa coaster, you can see that other drinks feature the same coasters, but with no Simpsons, only the logo for the drink.
The Simpsons' Christmas CC Lemon Bottles

These CC Lemon pet bottles, 1.25 liters and 0.5 liters, are on sale during Christmas a few years ago. Each bottles features a different family member, and one of them shows the whole family. The Simpsons are all in Christmas outfits. The most interesting one is Maggie's outfit, which is the blue star jacket that Marge gave her.
The Simpsons 1.2.3 Beach Benches

This is a CC Lemon 1.2.3 beach bench that can only be aquired through a lucky draw. By putting in one sticker from a bottle, you will have the chance of winning a one seater bench. For two stickers, you might win a two seater. And for three, you might win a three seater shown above.
These 1.2.3 Simpsons benches have hinges that you can make it smaller and easier to transport. It also makes it easier to store. The price on Ebay is approximately US$120, oh my god!
The benches also come with a very beautiful cover with the same pattern as the chair. It features all of the Simpsons characters, a Simpsons logo, and a CC Lemon can. With this bag you can get it anywhere you want.
David has sent us a few more pictures of his auctions on ebay. This is a CC Lemon one seater beach bench, in which you only need to put one sticker in the lottery to have a chance to win it. This ended on ebay for about US$40, quite expensive for a beach bench eh?
This one seater also collapses quite well and obviously takes less space than the three seater. It has a similar design with CC Lemon logos and Simpsons characters on yellow canvas. These chairs are some of the most precious Simpsons merchandise that collectors seek.
The Simpsons CC Lemon Lunch Pail

Searching through ebay for more CC Lemon items, I came by this very unique merchandise that I haven't seen anywhere else. This is a Simpsons CC Lemon lunch pail with a removable cover and a handle on top. Each Simpsons family member are introduced. There are huge CC Lemon logos all over the pail.
This is the top of the lunch pail. It is made of tin and has a very shiny surface. This didn't seem to be in the CC Lemon promotion program. Where and when this item came from is a mystery to all of us...
